Dance Dance RE-VOLT-UTION PROJECT
For this project we got into groups of 3-4 and we had to build our own dance pads! Our goal for this project to make a working dance project for our staff dancer. We had many work sheets to learn about electricity and circuits, My group Priya,Francisco, and Myself we made our dance in the idea of triangles because it goes with our team name/idea.
We used simple circuits for our dance pads. A simple circuits is were there are batteries with a positive and negative out burst. It is where the positive energy from one wire and the negative energy from another connect to a light bulb. How that works is the atoms flow through the wires to connect to the bulb. The difference between a insulators and conductors the insulator is an object that can stop the circuit from working. A conductor is mostly a metal object that can still keep the flow of the circuit. We used cardboard, tin foil, and tolliet paper rolls. We put wires on the tin foil paper rolls so when the tin foil hits the falt part of the bottom of the card board it lights up.
The competition went great! My group and I won second place. My dance pad work perfectly. A special thanks to Mr. Erik
